Over summer I was nominated to do the Liebster Award by a few lovely bloggers. At that point my blog was still starting out- I was just getting into the swing of it- and it was over summer that I noticed my blog quality improved. Since then, my blog has kept growing and growing. I'm now up to 660 + followers, which is a huge achievement for me, and I couldn't be happier. So I was a little surprised when I got a comment on my last post from Sophie (Lipstick and Love Hearts x) saying she had nominated me.
She has bended the rules a little, as it should be blogs that are under 200 followers that are nominated. But in her words, she's nominated blogs who she thinks deserves more followers- so be sure to check out her post to see the other blogs that have been nominated alongside me.
The rules are as follows:
- Thank the person who nominated you, giving a link back to their blog
- Answer the questions that they gave you
- Link and nominate other blogs which have less than 200 followers
- Give them 11 questions to answer
- Notify those you nominated so that they can answer your questions
Here's my answers to the questions that Sophie gave me:
- Who is the most famous person you've ever met?
One Direction- best day ever! My sister and I met Harry, Louis, Niall and Zayn in 2011 when they came to Aberdeen and got their autographs and a few photos.
- If you could make any fictional character come to life, who would it be?
I would love to know Peeta Mellark, personally. I have fancied him since I read the Hunger Games back in 2008, and I would love to have him in my life. (But not as Josh Hutcherson, more like Max Thieriot, who I always imagined as Peeta)
- What was your favourite birthday?
In all honesty I couldn't pick- I love them all. I did particularly like my 18th, I had an extended birthday. On the Thursday (which was my birthday) I spent the day at the Christmas market then had a big night out with my friends. I then travelled home on the Friday and went out with my sister and school friends on the Friday night. Then on the Saturday, I got all my presents and went out for a dinner with all of my family. I felt like the Queen with so many celebrations!
- What is one guilty pleasure you enjoy too much to give up?
Crisps and dips- its the Johnston family favourite. And if a bag of onion rings is in the mix, then that makes the night 10 times better.
- What's your favourite desert?
I will eat anything sweet. I love basically all foods, so I really couldn't choose.
- If someone asked you to give them a random piece of advice, what would you say?
I always say not to regret any decision in life, because at that time it was right for you, and its lead you to where you are today.
- If you could try out any job for a day, what would you like to try?
I'd love to work at an animal rescue centre and play with all the animals- that would be pretty cute.
- Do you enjoy shopping for clothes or beauty products?
It depends what mood I'm in, but I would usually prefer shopping for clothes, because I like to put outfits together.
- Would you ever sky dive or bungee jump?
I always toy with this. I would love to do something like that- I'm quite an adrenaline junkie when I'm at theme parks. But at the same I can guarantee I'd freak out and probably chicken out.
- What is the last thing you watched on tv?
I don't have a tv here, but I have skygo and have just started watching Grey's Anatomy. Fair to say I haven't got much else done!
- What is the first thing you think of when you wake up in the morning?
When is the last possible minute I can get out of bed without being late!
The blogs that I am going to nominate are:
