Charge Into Life | Keeping Healthy with Audacious Rhino Sports*

February 20, 2017

It's day 51 of 2017, and by this point I think its fair to say everyone's had a crack at their New Years Resolutions, and either sticking at them or given up. And what goes hand in hand with 'New Year Resolution'? - getting healthy.

Getting healthy doesn't have to be hard, and doesn't necessarily mean hitting up the gym every day or cutting out everything that contains sugar (an impossible challenge for me). One of the best ways to improve your lifestyle is increasing your water intake.

How much water should you drink? I've always been told around 2 litres of water a day is the ideal - which works out at around 8 glasses.

What good can drinking water do? Drinking water can
  • Give you more energy & reduce tiredness
  • It can fill you up and stop you from snacking! Sometimes you're not actually hungry, but thirsty
  • Improve your skin, and wash out toxins
  • Keeps you hydrated and stops headaches
  • Keeps your insides happy - yup your kidneys and bowels will be thanking you
And those are just a few of the benefits. It's a no brainer really - drinking water can only be a good thing for you.

BUT it's not always the easiest thing to do. So how have I managed to keep up my water intake on a daily basis?

I've started carrying my Rhino Sports water bottle around with me everywhere. Having it in my bag, or sitting on my desk encourages me to drink more. The flask is 500ml, meaning I try to refill it twice while I'm at uni, at least so that I'm getting half of my water in take while out of the house.

When I exercise, I've been drinking. I've been popping to the gym a couple of times a week, and take my bottle along with me, so that while I'm sweating I'm not losing too much water. This bottle also has a handle the flips out, meaning I can carry it easily while I'm out on dog walks, on a little jog, or just wandering about the city.

I've also started drinking flavoured teas - okay its not as healthy as water, but it still counts. This flask has the double bonus of keeping cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot, with its insulation. So when I'm needing a break from all the water, I pop a tea bag in and boil some water and I can bring tea with me wherever I go. Handy for saving a penny or two when you're a skint student. It keeps the water hot for a good few hours too, meaning that you can have lots of cups of tea out of the flask throughout the day.

This water bottle is easy to use - a simple screw top, that is big enough to fit ice cubes in, and get tea bags out again. There's a press button for the top to pop off. It's got a wide mouth and lip, making it easy to pour out your drink without causing spillages everywhere.

You can get your own Rhino Sports Flask too, check it out on amazon here or have a look at other Rhino Sports products over on their website here! I'd really recommend picking yourself up one of these to use to help you stay fit and healthy!

Love,

As a student I take my own teabags to the library when I'm studying all day so all I need is boiling water, it's such a good way to save money! xo

  3. I am a water addict. If I don't drink enough water my energy levels will drop. At work I always have a glass of water on my desk. When exercising I always take my 1 liter (30oz) Victoria's Secret bottle with me. :)

  7. I don't drink nearly as much water as I should. It's bad I know. Maybe if I had a fancy carrier I would.
